1. Who we are

ReportWright is operated by The Wright Ones LLC ("we," "us," "our"). We provide ReportWright home inspection report software for licensed home inspectors. Our contact email is [email protected].

2. What we collect

We collect the following information:

Account data: name, email address, and password (hashed) when you sign up
Inspector profile: company name, inspector name, license number, certifications, phone, and address
Inspection data: property addresses, client names, client email addresses, inspection photos, observations, and computer-generated reports you create
Usage data: which features you use, when you log in, and error logs for debugging
Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe - we never see or store your card number

3. How we use your data

To provide and improve the ReportWright service
To generate inspection reports using your photos and observations (sent to Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Perplexity APIs)
To store inspection photos in secure cloud storage (Supabase Storage)
To send transactional emails (reports, account notifications)
To process payments via Stripe
To prevent fraud and abuse

4. Service providers

When you generate a report, your inspection notes, observations, and photo content are sent to third-party service providers. We use Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT-4o mini), Google (Gemini), and Perplexity. Your data is subject to their respective privacy policies and data processing terms. We do not opt in to training data sharing with any of these providers.

5. Client data

Reports are shared with your clients via a unique, unlisted URL. Only people with the link can access the report. We do not use client property information for any purpose other than generating and displaying the report.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

Supabase - database, authentication, and photo storage
Stripe - payment processing
Resend - transactional email delivery
Railway - cloud hosting
Service providers - as described in section 4
Law enforcement - when required by law

7. Data retention

We retain your account data while your account exists. Canceling a subscription does not delete your data. You can still log in, review history, and export. Inspection photos, reports, and other records stay available after cancellation.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account, or by emailing us. When you delete your account, it is scheduled for permanent deletion in 14 days. Your personal data, inspection/report data, and uploaded files are permanently removed when that window ends. You can restore your account from the restore link in the deletion email before then. Billing records retained by Stripe may persist under Stripe's own retention obligations. Anonymized aggregate usage data may be retained for service improvement.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (Supabase session tokens). We may also use analytics cookies or scripts (PostHog) to understand how the product is used. PostHog data is not shared with advertisers. Our CookieBanner lets you control non-essential cookies.

9. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected].

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be emailed to active subscribers. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
